Welcome to Wentworth
Military Academy High School. Leadership requires the individual to
have quality interpersonal skills and both in depth and broad knowledge
across a wide spectrum of academic disciplines. Cadets must be well read
and competent in math and science. They must understand the complexities
of modern societies and cultures based on studies of past
civilizations, human ideas, and historic movements. Cadets are expected
to challenge concepts and be able to effectively and persuasively
communicate their thoughts and ideas both orally and in writing.
Our curriculum is at
the college-preparatory course level with the intent to enroll each
Cadet in one or more college classes as soon as they are academically
ready. Instructors in both the high school and college have high
expectations which our students meet through focused study periods,
individualized tutoring and a group learning environment. Small class
size, a devoted faculty and staff, and focused life skills such as self
discipline and time management are hallmarks of our institution.
