The
presence of our college allows eligible students to enroll in college classes and receive
simultaneous high
school and college credit. This is the driving force behind our ability
to accelerate a high school student's baccalaureate progression.
94% of our faculty have
an advanced degree, and we offer more than
32 courses in the dual
enrollment program.
Students demonstrating the following criteria are eligible for the
program:
a. Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0;
b. ACT composite score of at least 19;
c. Approval of the Principal and College Provost;
d. A grade of C or better must be maintained.
Additionally, students who have the necessary credits for high school
graduation may take college coursework as an adjunct to their high
school coursework, receiving college credit but not dual-enrollment
credit. The standards are the same as listed above except that the
required minimum GPA is 2.5.
