U.S.
Rep. Ike Skelton (D-MO), Class of 51
"Much
of who I am, and where I am, I owe to Wentworth. The Wentworth
experience literally changed my life in three significant ways:
- The
Discipline of Study
- Respect for
the Military
- Life-long
friends
When I think back to the structured study
time, I now realize that it helped me achieve academic honors. My junior
college experience led me to continue my academic honors at the
University of Missouri, where I graduated from Law School."
U.S. Rep. Ike Skelton

The Honorable
Charles H. Price, II
Class of 48
"Tucked
away in rolling hills of Central Missouri is a small community that is
the home of Wentworth Military Academy and Junior College. The prestige
of the Institution goes far beyond the boundaries of the small, but
adequate campus.
From the school’s inception in 1880, it has provided worldwide
leadership that has made a significant impact through twelve decades.
Wentworth Military Academy has always stood resolutely by the belief
that discipline paves the way for accomplishment and that service to
others and country is honorable.
Over and over again we hear the incredible stories of its graduates.
Lives that exemplify integrity, discipline, and a quest for excellence.
The birth of these qualities comes out of an institution that provides
the structure that creates academic excellence.
Wentworth has been the place of learning for people from every state in
the union and thirty-eight foreign countries. Truly, this Academy is a
highly respected worldwide institution."
